The National Hockey leagues biggest star has made his long awaited return to the ice. Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby has been sidelined since the start of the year with problems related to concussion he suffered in January.
Crosby made his return at home against the New York Islanders. His impact was immediate. 5 minutes in his first game in 10 months and 16 days he absolutely blows by a defenseman and scores to put Pittsburgh up 1-nothing.
Crosby looked like he didnt miss a beat, in the third period on the half wall he spins away from another defensemen and sends a backhand pass through the crease -- but it somehow goes in the the net that makes it 5-nothing. Crosby makes a triumphant return scoring twice and setting up two others as the Penguins skate to a 5-nothing win.
