After two previous attempts to clear his name, Alberto Contador is finally facing a hearing over a failed drug test. The 28-year-old Spaniard tested positive for the banned anabolic agent clenbuterol during the 2010 Tour de France.

Contador will learn his fate at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland. The cyclist claims last years positive test happened because he ate contaminated meat. The Spanish cycling federation cleared him of any wrongdoing but the International Cycling Union and the World Anti-Doping Agency have both appealed the decision.

The court hearing is scheduled to finish on Thursday, but a final decision will not be handed down for several weeks. If found guilty, Contador, could face a two-year ban and be stripped of his 2010 Tour title.
