NHL: Blackhawks beat Oilers 6-3

In the NHL, the Edmonton Oilers finished a six-game road trip against the Blackhawks in Chicago. The road-weary Edmonton team went into this game at the United Center having lost three of their last four, prior to Sunday.

Chicago was already up big after a Jonathan Toews goal made it 4-1 Hawks. Then, the Oilers Jordan Eberle got another point for Edmonton after a Chicago power play. He picked up a loose puck and skated in for an unassisted goal.

But Chicago rang up another one in the second period. Marian Hossa provided the assist for Duncan Keith scores goal...the Hawks led it 5-2.

Edmontons Ryan Nugent-Hopkins went to Shawn Horcoff for an Oilers power play goal. But the visitors still trailed it 5-3. Finally, Patrick Kane picked up the puck and shoveled it ahead to Dan Carcillo for an empty netter with 1:45 left. Chicago beat Edmonton, 6-3.
