Dallas takes 102-89 victory over New Jersey
Out West, Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks winners of 10 straight welcomed their former coach Avery Johnson and his New Jersey Nets to Dallas.
Nowitzki, hitting the jumper to put the Mavericks up by a dozen.
Third Quarter, The Mavericks would extend their lead to twenty points. Former Net Jason Kidd made a three point basket to put Dallas ahead in the game 60-40. Kidd only scored six points on the night, but he did complete eight assists to help the Dallas cause.
In the fourth quarter, Jason Terry received a pass back from Shawn Marion and headed toward the basket. He sank his floated shot to give the Mavericks an 85-73 lead.
Later in the fourth quarter, German Nowitzki buried the three point shot, he had 21 to help the Mavericks extend the NBA's longest current winning streak to 11 games, as they defeated the Nets 102-89.
