The final match in group D was between Copenhagen and Panathinaikos...Copenhagen, assured of moving on with the Kazan loss...and got goals from Martin Vingaard in the 26th minute. and Jesper Gronkjaer in the 50th.


Djibril Cisse scored the third for Compenhagen in the 73rd.


The Greek league champions pulled one back through Cedric Kante in the 90th minute.

FC Copenhagen Manager Stale Solbakken said, 'I think the game, more or less went as I expected. I expected us to be a little bit better than Panathinaikos, I expected us to create chances and I expected us to keep the zero (not concede a goal), which we should have done. The only irritating thing about the game was the last goal, but I can live with that.'
