Sun Ye wins women's 100 metre breaststroke

It was the last day for all the swimming events, China's Sun Ye added one more gold for host nation in women's 100 metre breaststroke.

Sun clocked 1 minute and 7.53 seconds.

The reslut also gave Sun third gold in the event after she won the women's 200 metre breaststroke and 4X100 metre medley relay.

Chinese skater Wang Fei raced her way into the record books. She set a new Asian mark for the 1500 metres, crossing the line at 1 minute 58.37 seconds. It was 1-and-a-half seconds under the previous record time she set four years ago. South Korean Noh Seonyeong took second place. The bronze went to Japanese skater Kodaira Nao.
