The disqualification of world record holder Ulsain Bolt from the 100 metres in the world championships in Daegu caused widespread controversy.

Will the IAAF review the 'automatic elimination' rule so a similar incident doesn't happen in London? Last night, we spoke to IOC Member and Senior Vice President of the IAAF, Sergei Bubka regarding the issue.

Watch Video Play Video In the final of the Madrid Tennis Masters, world number one Rafael Nadal took on world number two Novak Djokovic. Would the Serb stretch his unbeaten run to 34 matches or would the Spaniard, on his favored clay surface, take his record to 10 victories over Djokovic in 10 attempts on clay. The defending champion Nadal was looking to extend his run of 37 successive victories on clay, while Djokovic was aiming for his sixth consecutive title to stretch his unbeaten run to 34 matches since the start of the season. Wang Fei resets 1500m speed skating Asian record

Watch Video Play Video A long-awaited moment for China at the Asian Winter Games. It happened during a gold medal run in the women's 1500 meters speed skating event. Chinese skater Wang Fei raced her way into the record books. She set a new Asian mark for the 1500 metres, crossing the line at 1 minute 58.37 seconds. It was 1-and-a-half seconds under the previous record time she set four years ago. South Korean Noh Seonyeong took second place. The bronze went to Japanese skater Kodaira Nao.
