Vincent Kompany, Manchester City Captain said, "It wasn't the best of results obviously, but don't think we played to our potential anyway today, so... you know, we would have liked to win the game but in a way maybe we're the kind of team that reacts well after defeats and after bad results, so it will give us something to think about before the Swansea game (Man City's opening Premier League fixture) and we'll be ready, because, you know, today showed us that you have to be focused, not only on ninety minutes, but all season long and... so it was a good game to play right now."
