WCBA All-stars visit students in Huzhou city

The WCBA All-star game got underway last night.. but before the game, the players paid a special visit to a local primary school in Huzhou city, Zhejiang Province.

The WCBA stars took to the campus and were greeted by a crowd of students. On behalf of the Chinese Basketball Association, the players donated LED TVs, basketballs, and All-star game tickets to the school. In return for this, the pupils taught the All-Stars how to play diabolo, giving the stars some relaxation ahead of the game.

Chen Nan, Bayi Player, said, "I brought my 'teachers' some pencil cases. I hope they can make good use of them and progress in their studies. "

Watch Video Play Video A long-awaited moment for China at the Asian Winter Games. It happened during a gold medal run in the women's 1500 meters speed skating event. Chinese skater Wang Fei raced her way into the record books. She set a new Asian mark for the 1500 metres, crossing the line at 1 minute 58.37 seconds. It was 1-and-a-half seconds under the previous record time she set four years ago. South Korean Noh Seonyeong took second place. The bronze went to Japanese skater Kodaira Nao.
