Hundreds gathered near Martyr's Square on Saturday to watch their national football team. It was the first match since rebels took control of the capital.
Libya's African Cup of Nations Group-C qualifier with Mozambique was moved to Cairo because of security concerns. But that did not stop Libyan fans from gathering in Martyr's Square to watch the game on a big screen.
Fans saw their side wear a new white jersey with the three colors of the pre-Gaddafi flag adopted by the NTC.
Much to their delight, they also witnessed a win for their side, with Rabie el-Lofi scoring the only goal of the match in the 30th minute.
The victory for Libya assures them of a place in next year's African Cup of Nations, which will be held jointly in Ga-bon and Equatorial Guinea.
