Bulls defeat Pacers 88-84 for 3-0 lead

The Chicago Bulls have defeated the Indiana Pacers 88-84 in Indianapolis to take a 3-0 series lead in their playoff series.

The home side started well as Paul George dunked to put his side 38-33 up with 3 minutes left in the third quarter.

The Pacers held their advantage till the 4th quarter with Dahntay Jones finger roll layup shot. It was a 68-65 game.

But Carlos Boozer's dunk shot put his side up 82-78.

The Pacers reply was immediate a Danny Granger step back jump shot to draw the game at 84-all with 1 minute 42 left.

Derrick Rose, as usual, did his part. He put the Bulls back in the lead 86-84 with 17.4 seconds left.

Danny Granger missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds remaining. And the Bulls went up 88-84 win and a series lead of 3-0.

Derrick Rose, Bulls Guard, said, "We knew that this was going to be a crazy game when we first went out there, they play well together, the fans were great cheering for them but we just have to make sure we get better every game. I think in the second half we controlled the game a little with our turnovers, not turn the ball over I mean and just try to make everything easy."

Blazers beat Mavs 97-91 to pull to 2-1 in series

The other match was between the Blazers and the Mavericks. The game wes tied at 28 in the beginning of the second quarter and Jason Terry broke the tie to make it 30-28.

Dirk Nowitzki had 25 points and nine rebounds for the Mavericks and this one makes it 37-32.

But Portland outscored Dalls 12-2 in the first 3 and half minutes of the fourth quarter to make it a 85-72.

Dal las cut a 13-point Portland lead to three with under 13 seconds left.

But Andre Miller sealed the win with a pair of free throws in the dieing moments. The win narrowed the Dallas' lead in the first-round series to 2-1.

Wade, James lead Heat past 76ers for 3-0 lead

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all united his season to win a championship. Step one is nearly complete James stole the ball, Wade picked up the pass and dunked.

But it was the 76ers in the lead at 64-56 with 7 minutes left of the third quarter. It was Andre Iguodala who played a solid all-around game with 10 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.

James and Wade were always in the spot light... James steals again and manages a pass to Wade. Wade's dunk cut the the deficit to 4 points.

After trailing 75-73 in the third, the Heat responded with a big 15-4 run to take the lead and the victory, 100-94.
