Like so many of their epic matches over the years, this was another one full of exhilarating rallies and spellbinding winners, but the "King of Clay" Rafael Nadal deservedly prevailed.
Nadal strategically played to Federer's backhand on Court Philippe Chatrier, but the 16-time Grand Slam champion struggled with his forehand as well. He committed 56 unforced errors in the match to Nadal's 27.
