Exclusive: London 2012 serves as source of unification for Libyan people

As the nation of Libya continues to move on, post Mohammar Gadhaffi, the head of the nations Olympic Committee is looking at next summers London Olympics as a potential source of unification for his people.

Nabil Elalem sat down with our correspondent, Guy Henderson, and says he believes London 2012 could be the outlet the young people of his nation need to come together as one.

Wang Fei resets 1500m speed skating Asian record

Watch Video Play Video A long-awaited moment for China at the Asian Winter Games. It happened during a gold medal run in the women's 1500 meters speed skating event. Chinese skater Wang Fei raced her way into the record books. She set a new Asian mark for the 1500 metres, crossing the line at 1 minute 58.37 seconds. It was 1-and-a-half seconds under the previous record time she set four years ago. South Korean Noh Seonyeong took second place. The bronze went to Japanese skater Kodaira Nao.
