The Patriots needed just six plays to take a 10-point lead on BenJarvus Green-Ellis' one-yard touchdown plunge. The expected classic was turning very ugly in the early stages. In the face of a yet another blitz, Brady found Deion Branch, who broke Antonio Cromartie's feeble tackle and sprinted into the end zone for a 17-0 lead. NHL: Penguins beat Devils 2-1

Watch Video Play Video Sidney Crosby scored a goal and set up another as the Pittsburgh Penguins matched the second-longest winning streak in franchise history, beating the New Jersey Devils 2-1 to collect their tenth win in a row. Marc-Andre Fleury go on to make 27 saves as the Penguins matched a 10-game winning streak set in January 1999. But it was New Jersey who took a 1-0 lead on Brian Rolston's first goal in 10 games.They were hoping to erverse a six game losing streak on the road. Late in the first quarter, Sidney Crosby set up Pittsburgh's first goal beating Chris Kunitz for a one-timer. The 16-game point scoring streak is the league's longest this season and matches the second longest run of Crosby's career. One day after Fluminense became Brazilian League champions following a 26-year drought, the iconic Rio City theatre hosted an end of season awards gala. With a samba music backdrop, the Brazilian FA named their selections for a team of all-stars. Former Brazilian World Cup winner Roberto Carlos was given the title of the best fullback. But in this year's competition, the night was dominated by overseas players. The MVP award went to Argentine midfielder Dario Conca of Fluminese. A special lifetime award was then given to Ronaldo. Needing a win to be certain of finishing above Inter Milan, Tottenham took the lead on a Peter Wisgerhof own goal. In the 22nd minute, Twente level...Denny Landzaat converting the penalty. Tottenham made a strong start to the second half and the unmarked Jermain Defoe was able to fire his side back in front after just two minutes. Schalke wins 2-1 at Benfica to top Group B in Champions League
