And like most important decisions a game of "rock, paper, scissors' settled it. Mike Swanson was the winner or loser, depending on how you see things. He will be remembered forever in the sports anals as the first BASE jumper to take to the air in South Korea. This stunt almost didn't happen, and it wasn't because of a lack of courage, but over a frightening array of administrative and even military hoops they had to jump through - any one of which could have put the whole project in jeopardy.
